What is Self-Help?

Self-help workbooks take you through therapeutic techniques that you can do independently

These are activities that you can work through on your own to improve your mental health state and your mood

You can do it on its own or in conjuction with physical, psychological, or therapeutic treatments. Therapists may ask you to complete self-help exercises as 'homework' after an appointment to use in your next session or as support between sessions.

Our self-help workbooks can help you to explore therapeutic techniques independently. We are developing these as an alternative to working with a psychologist or therapist in the cases where issues are not severe. If you are suffering with severe symptoms, we do not recommend self-help by itself.
